Are Paving Stones Easy to Install?

Paving stones are quite easy to install and do not take an exceedingly long depending on the size of the area of your commercial or residential masonry project.  For example, if you are installing a patio to your back yard or garden terrace, you would want to make sure there are no sewer or gas lines below the surface first then also make sure the ground is cleared and staked where your paving stone patio will be.

A professional can clear the soil from the area and lay a fabric cloth to defend your paving stone seams from weeds later and provide a clean area for installation.  Next your installer will add a gravel base then a sand base your cleared soil area.  After that, the magic happens, and your installer will carefully lay your natural stone pavers in the design you chose.

After your paving stones are all laid in place and secured in your sand and gravel bed, your installer will add sand to the top of your paving stones, brushing into the seams, and adding more until the seams are all filled and compact.  Then your installer will clear the top of the paving stone of all sand leaving the tops of the paving stones clean and then will lightly spray water over your paving stones.
