I recently had General Masonry Construction work on two homes in the Deerfield area. Each had issues. In one, they had to rebuild an arch on the outside of the building. On the other, in addition to maintaining and rebuilding some of the exterior brick, they maintained an attached all glass sunroom. No brick, just big windows and they fixed the small leak, and did so efficiently. I was very pleased because I was having a hard time finding a sunroom contractor who would maintain a sunroom, they all wanted to rebuild it. The work done by General Masonry was done professionally, on time, and at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend their services.

General Masonry Construction did a great job repairing our backyard brick wall. They used their expertise to only fix those parts of the wall really needing it, whereas all the others would insist on tearing down everything and rebuilding at a cost 2 to 3 times what we paid. It looks great and was completed on time. The job supervisor, Krzysztof, was always helpful in working with us, and has a great positive, upbeat attitude. We would definitely work with him and his capable team again. They guarantee their work.

GMC were every bit as professional and accurate with their work as they said they would be! We had a sizable exterior brick project for our gut rehab as well as some interior chimney work that needed to be done. They worked with me on the planning, helped me pick the best matching brick, and completed the work professionally, accurately, were very clean, and just as courteous as I would hope. They’ll be doing our driveway for us next. I highly recommend using GMC! These guys are great!

I would highly recommend General Masonry. The price was good but the service was great! They were here to put a new cap on my chimney when they promised and did the work in a professional way. They cleaned up the area and the men were great to deal with. If you need a mason, call General Masonry.

I have used General Masonry Construction 4 times over the last several years. The work done by them is always outstanding. I had General replace the limestone ledge on my fireplace several years ago. No one else was able to figure out how to repair it with the proper support to keep it from cracking since it has a large overhang. The work they did on it is outstanding. Since then, I have used them for foundation repair as well as chimney tuck-pointing. With our harsh winters and the age of the building, it is really necessary to have a company that is honest, reliable, and does quality work! I always call General Masonry based on the past work they have done for me.

The people were responsive, did excellent work and were a pleasure to work with. They took down my old chimney and built me a new one. Price was fair and they came right out when I told them I was having a pretty bad problem. Other companies were not as helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who needs masonry work and intend to use them again on other property.
